Curriculum

At the Concord Kung Fu Academy you have the opportunity to embark on a journey that could last a life time.

Our extensive curriculum offers traditional forms from three branches of Choy Li Fut: Jiangmen (formerly Kong Chow), King Mui, and Fut San. Students learn a variety of hand forms, weapon forms, dual fighting hand and weapon sets, training "jong" forms, and internal forms.

Year-round Training

For children and adults involved in seasonal sports and activities, kung fu and tai chi helps you to remain strong, flexible and in shape all year long. You will avoid the "ramp-up" of getting back into shape once the "season" roles around. Even players in the NFL recognize the important benefits of the martial arts in their year-round training by adding martial arts to their program to help with strength, balance and control.

For those who have been inactive for far too long to jump back into an energetic routine and wish to start a fitness program, tai chi is a perfect "start up" program. The low impact, strength building exercises help to reduce stress and increase overall physical capability. It is a perfect entry back into more physically demanding activities and aids in overall health.

Programs Classes for all ages.
